The Curry house is within an easy 5 minute walk to the town center and is within a short 10 minute walk to pristine Lake Mansfield for summer swimming, kayaking and ice skating in winter! Nestled into tree-lined Castle Hill neighborhood, lovely gardens and walkways welcome you to the front porch with table, chairs, and a porch swing. Inside, the entry way is well organized for coats and outdoor shoes. The house has an open floor plan with a large living room with bay windows and plenty of comfortable and stylish seating. The eat-in kitchen is a beautiful soft green shade with plenty of cabinets and counter space, new range, Bosche stainless steel dishwasher, garbage disposal, and all the typical gadgets one needs to easily cook a meal. There is a breakfast room table and a back terrace entry. The dining room comfortably seats 8 guests and just off this room is a tv/den with DVD and wii – basic cable will be made available upon request for month-long bookings. The second floor has two bedrooms and one full bath: the master bedroom has a queen bed and the second guest room has a twin bed. There is also a home office on this level. The third floor, finished attic, is a delightful space with two more bedrooms: one with a full bed, and the other – a special place for children – with a full bed, desk, and playroom area. The lower level, with its own entry has a workshop space that could be used for any number of creative endeavors. This lower level has nice natural light and also houses the laundry room and “privy” – a water closet that has privacy walls and a door – quite charming! Outside are more gardens and a playhouse/clubhouse to delight a child or two… you can see views of East Rock from the yard, back porch, and kitchen windows!
