This extraordinary Estate in Southfield/New Marlboro is truly one of a kind. Twenty Thousand square feet of living space provide you and your family/friends plenty of room to explore the many delightful features of this luxurious property. The estate was initially built by building onto and connecting the two existing two barns to create an open, timeless, feeling that only old construction can provide while being surrounded in the restorative New England landscape and pampered by all the luxuries of modern living! Its atmosphere is elegant with a touch of whimsy, as the pool, solarium, sun deck, work out room, spa, indoor swing, guitar and media room will attest.
On the practical side, there are 6 bedrooms: the master suite with full bath (tub and shower) has a king size bed with an attached dressing room with a handy queen size bed in it for a child or those that like a little extra space. Two other guest rooms each with a full bed share a full bathroom with a tub and shower. On the lower level there are two more bedrooms both with queen beds, which are near to the spa. The spa has a luxurious shower with three showerheads, steam, sauna, and separate shower. Two more 1/2 bathrooms are on the main floor: one near the living room and another near the gym.
There is a media room, office/library, a large, open, great room with pool table, dining table, fireplace, and even an indoor swing! All the TVs have Satellite TV hook-ups and the media room has a large screen HD/TV. The fully equipped chef's kitchen has a large eat-in breakfast area with table and magazine bar. The dining room is set in the great room and seats 14+ guests. The great room has a fantastic fireplace and plenty of elegant, yet easy, seating On the lower level you have the spa with large sauna, steam shower, the work out room with Pilates and weights, the media room with home theater, and the wall of guitars.
Outside you have acres to romp in, gorgeous in-ground heated pool, Barlow Tyrie chairs, table, umbrella and lounge chairs, a gas grill, and an all-you-can-eat organic vegetable garden.
The rate off season is: $5000 for up to 4 nights or $7000 per week. Summer – Memorial Day – October 25: $8500 for up to 4 nights and $10,000 per week. Special occasion fees may apply – please inquire.
